Article 45 of the Swiss Insurance Supervision Act 

Duty of information

1 As soon as an insurance intermediary establishes contact with an insured, it shall provide the latter with at least the following information:

a. its identity and address;

b. whether the insurance coverage it offers in a specific insurance line is provided by one or more insurance companies, and the identity of the concerned insurance companies;

c. its contractual relationship with the insurance companies for which it is acting, and the identity of these companies;

d. the person who can be held liable for negligence, errors or incorrect information in relation to their mediation activity;

e. the processing of personal data, in particular the purpose, scope and recipients of these data as well as their storage.

2 The information according to paragraph 1 shall be made available on a permanent medium accessible to the insured.

3 The Federal Council shall stipulate the specific rules.
